Himalayan Academy an English medium co-educational secondary school runs under the aegis of leela Devi educational trust. The school was established in 2013 and is situated in pakartalla, kahalgaon. The school has a campus area of 2 acre land which comprises of adequate number of airy classrooms keeping in mind the need for natural sunlight and proper ventilation. The school also has a well equipped library and a separate science, maths and computer laboratory. Both mental and Physical growth is important for children at this stage hence the school maintains a large playground to conduct various outdoor games and sports activity. The all round formation of students in Himalayan academy is aimed at preparing them to take their place eventually in society with confidence.
